I was at work last week and I was talking to one of my coworkers about sweets. There were TONS of doughnuts in the conference room--now I love sweets, I do, obviously, but unless you place a Glazed and Infused doughnut {honestly, I ate those doughnuts in the car--that's how good they were!} in front of me, I won't even budge.
Margaret and I did however confirm our love for cookies.
I love the texture, the salty-sweet, and all of the different kinds. Don't give me a store bought one, really, don't. Ever. {Ok, maybe if it's one of those Lofthouse sugar cookies with the colored frosting from the store, then maybe I'll eat one.}
Anyways, I was going to my friend Ruby's birthday party last Saturday and I wanted to bake something delicious. I went for the cookie. Typical, yes. BUT it had to be a brown butter and M&M cookie. So I looked around and I came across this Brown Butter M&M Cookie recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction.
Honestly, she thinks of some of the most delicious combinations ever. It makes me really lazy at baking because whenever I think of a really bangin' recipe I check her site first and she has kindly already written the recipe out for me.
Must be ESP.
They are delicious cookies and they are the perfect salty/sweet combination.
Oh no, ohhh. Those look amaaazing. I've been trying to think up something fun to bake for my new flatmates and to give my kitchen a good first run! Perhaps I'll make these an inaugural treat ;)
