France and Tasty Treats

In my last post I mentioned that my friends and I are planning a trip to Europe.

The last picture is my inspiration for this post. I picture myself walking through those streets with a delicious macaron...or 10.

So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own.

Raspberry macaroons with buttercream frosting

Let me just say, I read that they are temperamental and time consuming, but I didn't believe anything I read.

I was wrong.

They didn't quite turn out.

I am pretty sure I know what I did wrong. I will dominate this recipe so I can do a little posty-post about it for you all. Yup!
